Tasmania and Delicious Bruny Island

I travelled to Tasmania with a group of friends in January for a holiday and to explore the Bay of Fires, Hobart and Bruny Island. The service provided by Ciao Travel was wonderful. During a busy time of year and when travel restrictions were in constant flux, Cindy rescheduled us to a positive outcome and kept us up to date and our minds at ease.

I recommend the “Bruny Island Traveller” tour with Pennicott Wildnerss Journeys, for me this was a great day that was arranged for my friends and I by Ciao Travel.

We had a comprehensive inclusive full day gourmet tour of the island. Pennicott Wilderness Journeys enabled us to explore the natural beauty and history of the island, whilst on the tasting trail of award winning cheeses, premium wines and beer, freshly shucked oysters, handcrafted fudge and local honey. When we all thought we had plenty to eat, we were treated to a delicious lunch.

Sharing this experience with my best mates was a very special memory. And now I’ve made myself hungry thinking about it!

I loved our five day Intrepid “Walk the Bay of Fires” tour, it was an excellent way to experience this beautiful wilderness.

The car rental worked out really well for us all with our luggage. The accommodation we had booked for us in Launceston at the Chancellor Hotel and Hobart at the Salamanca Inn was excellent and both in good locations for seeing the local sights.
