A trip for two to Europe

This was the first trip my Mum and I planned to Europe, we hade been recommended by a friend to see Cindy from Ciao Travel and we were not disappointed.

Ciao Travel tailor your trip to your exact specifications with all the bells and whistles, whilst keeping you involved in the process all the way up until departure. The main ‘want’ for this trip was to explore Italy as much as possible in the short few weeks we were there. The highlights for us were having guides that Cindy knew personally that were up to date with everything going on in each city we visited. As such we were able to visit the statue of David in Florence and the Sistine Chapel in Rome without queuing at all and seeing these beautiful historical landmarks with the minimum number of people to block the view. We were also lucky enough to be able to buy atelier made Venetian masks in Venice which we would never have found without our fantastic guide whom Cindy personally recommended.

Originally we had no intentions of going anywhere but Italy, however Cindy suggested we go to Paris and pass through Switzerland to get to Italy and what a wonderful suggestion, so much so we plan to return two years time.

Trip tips:

If you’re going to Versailles, explore it by bike. The tour Cindy organised for us was terrific and without it we wouldn’t have been able to explore nearly as much of the grounds as we did which would have been such a disappointment.

If you’re on the Amalfi Coast, definitely take the boat across to Capri, as recommended by Ciao Travel. It was such a stunningly little island with loads to explore and beautiful gardens used to make the local perfume.
